LET'S MEET DEBORA

How do you approach customers, how do you interact with them?

The key word is hospitality, the customer must never feel rejected. She needs to be in a comfortable place. We are the ones who determine the mood of the shop. The client must be sure that she finds what she seeks from us, that we can be an answer to what she wants.

What is the better part of working at Wave?

The relationship with customers. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing a customer who leaves the salon smiling and satisfied. At that point you know you have made a wish come true.

Your motto?

“Agarra la ola”, which means “Catch the wave”, because the wave, in the surf, when it’s there, you have to go inside and catch it. The same in life. You have to go firmly towards a goal and take it. A bit like the tightrope walker: you can not do it one meter from the ground, it’s like not doing it, you have to go higher.

Is there a person, famous or not, that you’d like to have a lunch with?

Philippe Daverio. He is a man of extreme culture and subtle pleasantness.

When you were a teenager, on which famous person did you have a crush?

on two famous persons, actually: Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page. As a child, around the age of 10, I used to declare i was engaged with both (my father introduced me to their music). As a young girl I had a crush on Axl Rose from Guns N ‘Roses.

Since you are passionate about music, what is your favorite song?

I go in periods. Right now there’s a song that I listen to a lot, it’s “Plastic Hamburgers” by The Fantastic Negrito.

“Agarra la ola”, which means “Catch the wave”, because the wave, in the surf, when it’s there, you have to go inside and catch it.
